Microwave Ovens Aren’t Just for TV Dinners
With a microwave oven must mean not only heating up a TV dinner. Although microwaves vary dramatically in their levels of cooking times, there are some general principles that can be followed.
1. Start with a recipe that you are familiar. In this way you will know what it is, taste, before you start.
2. There are some foods that need to be cooked in a conventional oven, such as a plate of pastries or desserts that have notpre-cooked in an ordinary oven or fried foods.
3. In most courts there is a 1 / 4 to 1 / 3 less cooking in the microwave. Start with a shorter time, then test. If it is not cooked through, add more time. Most have stoves have an automatic turntable, if not yours, you should be eating, if it did half way, that it cooks evenly rotate.

10. For poaching,reduce liquid one cup or less. Season. Tightly cover bowl with plastic wrap before cooking.

There are too many variables for bread, cakes, pastries, desserts, jams and jellies. It is best to find a microwave oven conversion cookbook or a recipe to use specifically for microwave cooking. Cookbooks for microwaves are easy to find in those days.
All you can cook in the microwave. Just because youdo not need as much fluid, your meat is browning and the cooking time required is drastically reduced.
